Well, I certainly haven’t done any updates in quite some time. I just finished up a quarter of teaching and decided to take a week off, which is certainly unusual for me. I was really struggling on day three and really wanted to do some web stuff or draw something, but I thought it was important to recharge the batteries. While I was resting I decided to read Action Comics superman which is the beginning of the reboot for The DC Universe and the New 52. At least I think it is. The cover is Superman in jeans and a t-shirt, wearing a caping and running real fast. It was recommended to me by Brandon Clark and I figured I should check it out. Rag Morales is the Illustrator, I am not sure who wrote it, you’ll have to forgive me because the textual story is far less important to me than the visual one. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. Anyhoo, it got me thinking about drawing Superman since I hate drawing him. He just seems real difficult to draw, but I gave it a shot and here it is. I also added the pencil in the photo to let Jared Clark know that I drew it with a pencil. Enjoy and maybe even comment if you feel like it.
